Friday, March 2nd: Common Core Math K-8
This one day workshop will include the following training to teachers and administrators supporting the implementation of the Common Core (CC) K-8 Math Standards in their school.
· Introduce the critical areas of the CC standards at each grade level K-8.
· Learn how the critical areas organize and bring focus to the K-8 standards
· Learn the domains, clusters, and standards organization of the new standards.
· Understand how the eight practice standards intersect with the content standards
· Learn how to track student progress on the math standards to mastery.
· Strategies to differentiate instruction based on the student data
